How Charizmia uses her resources to promote her own career
Charizmia understood who she wanted to be the moment she walked into a studio in 2011. Charizmia wanted to make a positive change in her life after serving in the military for four years and having two children. Charismia Paige grew up in poverty in Dothan, Alabama, but was surrounded by music and had a passion for all types of music. She always knew she wanted to rap, despite her engagement in a multitude of businesses and pursuits. She claims to be descended from a long line of hidden abilities, and that singing runs through her blood. Her uncle is a rapper, and she claims that her sister enjoys both singing and rapping.
Her music, she says, allows people to express themselves while also motivating them. She wants people to realize that anything is possible and that aspirations may be realized only if they are followed with action. She knows what it’s like to be responsible because she grew up with three younger siblings.
Charizmia says that if she were to ever have the opportunity and chance to collaborate with any artist, it would be Missy Elliot. Growing up in Alabama isn’t always easy as there aren’t many big artists from there to engage with the music. With that being said Charizmia says she has to promote all her music herself and has to do all the work behind the scenes to make everything flow so smoothly.
