New Jersey-born Elias Gonzalez, 21, never wanted to work to help another person make money.

Well, that’s not quite true. He did want to help others make money, but he wanted to do that through his own business, not one that would involve a cubicle for him and a large corner office for the CEO making bonuses that were higher than his yearly salary.

“I decided I did not want to work for someone else. My initial plan was to go to trade school and become an electrician until a video on YouTube changed my life for the better,” Gonzalez said.

That video featured smart stock market tricks, so he invested the paychecks he earned working as a clerk at Dairy Queen in stock trading, which became his first business while he worked on his Associate’s Degree in Business.

“I am known for helping others improve their education in the stock market by offering valuable stock market tips. I started an exotic car rental company using the funds made from stock trading and everyone who knows me as a stock trader comes to me for their rental needs.”

His love of cars, along with the engaging personality necessary to help his business grow, made his second business, Shift Rentals, almost instantly popular. Bringing in customers who loved him because he helped boost their stock portfolios couldn’t have hurt.

After all, who doesn’t want to drive a convertible on a warm Miami evening, the smell of fresh salt air surrounding you as you take a moonlight ride to the beach?

Luxury car rental grew fast

“In just 6 months, Shift Rentals has grown to be one of the biggest rental companies in the South Florida region and we are working on expanding to multiple parts of the US,” Gonzalez said.

Right now, he also has luxury car rental companies in his home state of New Jersey and in New York, but hopes to expand to other major cities as he continues to steadily raise the necessary revenue.

He makes money through the exotic car rentals, with the perk of being able to drive any one of the cars any time he’d like. But his stock portfolio also continues to grow.

“My passion for cars led me to choose this career. The best way to own and use exotic cars is to rent them out to make money and enjoy the cars you love,” he said.

Shift Rentals has been so popular because there are a limited number of exotic car rental companies available where Gonzalez has smartly located them, and his slightly lower rental fees create loyal customers who most certainly make referrals to friends.

His company’s excellent customer service, fully-detailed vehicles that are both cleaned and sanitized (important during this era of COVID), and his willingness to work with customers nationwide from his three East Coast locations has also helped Gonzalez grow his luxury car company.
